Terms of Service
Last updated: July 23, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MageEnv ("MageEnv", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website and dashboard (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
MageEnv provisions temporary, disposable Magento development environments on a rented, hourly-billed basis. Each environment includes SSH, database, FTP, and admin access for the duration of your selected plan, after which it expires and is torn down.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Billing and Payments
- Plans are billed upfront for a fixed number of hours, at the price displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Razorpay.
- Once your payment is completed, your environment is provisioned and the Service is made available to you. All purchases are final - we do not offer refunds or money back under any circumstances.
- If you run into any issue with your environment, our support team is available at all times to help you resolve it.
- You may purchase additional hours to extend a running environment before it expires, subject to plan availability.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Host or distribute illegal content, or violate any applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' environments, our infrastructure, or any connected systems.
- Run cryptocurrency mining, denial-of-service tools, spam infrastructure, or any activity that abuses shared host resources.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any environment or account that violates this section, without refund.
5. Environment Expiration and Data Loss
Environments are temporary by design. Once an environment expires, all data within it - code, database contents, files, and any other content - is permanently and irrecoverably deleted. MageEnv is not responsible for any data lost when an environment expires. You are solely responsible for backing up or exporting any work you want to keep before your environment expires.
6. Service Availability
We aim to provision environments promptly, but provisioning runs through a shared queue and may be delayed under high demand. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
7. Intellectual Property
We retain all rights to the MageEnv platform, branding, and underlying software. You retain all rights to the code, content, and data you upload to your environment.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MageEnv shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use section above.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

This page is a general-purpose starting template and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. In particular, the no-refund policy above is absolute as written - several jurisdictions' consumer protection laws override blanket no-refund clauses in certain cases (e.g., a non-working service), so please confirm this against your actual business registration and local law before publishing.
